Mark is a native of Lincoln, Illinois and graduated with a degree in Mortuary Science and then a degree in Business Administration from Southern Illinois University in Carbondale. He married Becky Hastings in 1987 and they have 3 children; Brock, Bryce and Bridget. He has served as the Washington County Coroner since 2008 and is also a licensed Pre Need Insurance Producer. Mark is past president of the Nashville Chamber of Commerce, Hoyleton Lions Club and Washington County Sportsman's Club. He serves on the board of directors of the Washington County Vocational Workshop, Illinois Coroner and Medical Examiners Association and Masonic Cemetery. He is a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Nashville and enjoys hunting, watching NCHS Hornet sports and spending time at his cabin in the woods.

Becky is a native of Mattoon, Illinois and attended Millikin University where she studied music. She and Mark were married in 1987 and have 3 children; Brock, Bryce and Bridget. Becky is the owner and operator of Becky's Music Studio in Nashville where she teaches piano. She also serves as the music director at Nashville Primary School and is a church pianist. She is a member of Grace United Methodist Church in Nashville and loves music and playing the piano. Her other hobbies include watching the St. Louis Cardinals, Kansas Jayhawks and traveling

Bryce is the son of Mark and Becky and resides in the Nashville funeral home. After graduating from Nashville High School, Bryce received a baseball scholarship to Lewis and Clark College. After obtaining his degree from Lewis and Clark , he joined the United States Army where he served as a Mortuary Affairs Specialist. He is a graduate of Worsham College of Mortuary Science where he attended on the GI bill. Bryce loves sports, playing golf, boxing, hunting and fishing.

Raymond has served as the mayor of Nashville for many years. He is retired from Farm Service Company where he supplied area farmers with fuel for several decades. He married Sandra Holzhauer in 1963 and sadly she passed away in 2018. Raymond has 3 daughters and 7 grandchildren. He is a long time member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Nashville and enjoys bowling and helping his brother in law farm.

Kurt is a native of St. Louis and moved to Nashville nearly 20 years ago to raise his family. He and his wife Joanna have 2 daughters. Kurt is a full time Firefighter/Paramedic with West County Fire Department in Town and Country Missouri. He is a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Nashville and loves to hunt and fish.

Denise has been with our staff for over 10 years and has taken over the duties of her mother Sandra Kolweier after her passing in 2018. She is married to Keith Schuette of New Minden and between them, they have 3 children. Denise is a full time employee in the office at Friendship Manor Health Center in Nashville. Brock is the son of Mark and Becky and grew up in the funeral business. After graduating from Nashville High School, he obtained his degree in Criminal Justice from Kaskaskia College. He married Roxzen Pelczynski in 2018 and they reside in Nashville. Brock is a Lieutenant with the Nashville Police Department and also serves as a Washington County Deputy Coroner. He is a member of the St. Paul United Church of Christ in Nashville and enjoys hunting, fishing and traveling with his wife.
