To Bill and his family:
Bill was a sweet and amazing man whom I will always remember having the fond memory of helping out my son who was in 4-H at the time when we bought my son a pony with no horse trailer to bring the pony home with. Bill kindly loaned us his trailer. In addition, he was so great working with our mother on our father's auction and later my mom's moving auction. Our mother insisted on having Bill do both auctions. Mom loved going to his auctions. Knowing our mother she is greeting Bill and Janet her cousin in heaven and asking them ," Hey any good auctions today?" Heaven gained an angel that will be missed by so many here on earth. Till we meet again Bill... thank you for being you.

So sad to hear of this. I remember Bill and Mom leading the Irvington boys 4H club ( the Top Notchers?) for many years. The only time I saw him without a smile or a funny thing to say was when I met him at the Friedens cemetery in Irvington. I was visiting my parents grave and he was visiting Janet's .....with tears in his eyes. That made a lasting impression on me. Now he probably has tears of joy from being reunited with her and all the other good, decent people from Irvington and surrounding area that have passed. And I bet he's making them all laugh!

So sorry for your loss. I had the privilege of working with Bill at the courthouse for a summer through Job Corp. His sense of humor was like no other. He was quite the prankster. He also knew just about everyone especially in Irvington and always had a story to tell or a joke to make people smile. I'm sure his family will miss him dearly as well as his community. Rest in peace my friend.

So sorry to hear this news... Bill was such a great guy. I remember his smile from many sales, Irvington events, and 4-H. He will be sorely missed in Irvington and the surrounding area, but he has already been welcomed to his heavenly home...
