I am so sorry for the loss of your beloved Norma. Be comforted by God's promise that one day soon death, mourning, and pain will be gone from the earth forever. (Revelation 21:3,4)
Until that time, may the love and support of family and friends help to ease the pain of your loss.

Norma and I first met as students at Rock Junior High School in East St. Louis. In the early 60s, I was reacquainted with Norma and met Norvel through Phyllis and John Moisson and had many good times together. Norma, Phyllis, and I were members of Junior Service Club of St. Clair County. I had a brief career as a newspaper reporter and had fun preparing a story about Norma and Norvel and their careers in the military where she outranked her husband. I later became a nurse, as were Norma and Phyllis. I saw Penny only a couple of times when she was a very small girl--just a few years old. I last saw Norma 10+ years ago at the art store in Fairview Heights. Our friends are leaving us, but we are left with fond memories. John and Phyllis are both deceased. Tempus fugit. I had lost track of Norma over the years and I am so sorry to hear of her passing. I have to tell you a story of her that sticks in my mind, especially at this time of year. On Halloween of the year Penny was probably 2 or 3 I knew she would bring her trick or treating and I was prepared. I had borrowed a gorilla costume from a friend and when Norma and Penny arrived at my front door I went out the back dressed in said costume. Reentering the house at the front door. Of course Norma had no idea it was me and I walked up to her and took the bag or treats from her and ran she ran after me and we had a merry time going around the table until I removed the gorilla head. We laughed and laughed. Be comforted by the goodness of her soul and know that she will rest in the arms of her Father above.
