Wanda Jo (Willoughby) Carrick

Wanda Jo Carrick, 93 of Oakdale, passed away at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 3, 2022 at Lebanon Care Center in Lebanon.  She was born on September 21, 1928 in Healdton, OK. The daughter of Joe Herman and Margie Wray Willoughby.  She married James Robert Carrick on February 5, 1947 in Ft. Worth, TX and he passed away on May 30, 2004.  Also preceding her in death were her parents, a sister Pauline Dunn and a nephew Craig Dunn.

Left to mourn her passing is her son Jonathan (Lynne) Carrick of Strasburg, CO, her daughter Lana (Robert) Weiss of Caseyville, 3 grandchildren; Amanda, Joanna and Kaitlin.  5 great grandchildren; Hazel, Jadalynn, Sawyer, Zoe and Shelby.  Nieces; Sarah Hall and Marjorie Hale and a nephew Sam Pruitt.

Wanda was a member of the First Baptist Church in Nashville.  She previously worked as a cook at Nashville Grade School and Friendship Manor Health Center in Nashville.  She enjoyed quilting.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 10, 2022 at Styninger Funeral Home in Nashville with Rev. Scott Sharp officiating.  Burial will follow in the Old Concord Cemetery near Rice.  Friends may call from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Friday and one hour prior to services on Saturday at the funeral home.  Memorial contributions may be made to the Concord Cemetery Association.
