Thomas Claude Newman

Thomas Claude Newman, Jr. 74 of Richview, passed away at 12:41 p.m. on Thursday, October 16, 2025 at his residence.  He was born on November 16, 1950 in Centralia the son of Thomas Claude and Florence Kemp Newman Sr.  He married Mary Elizabeth Sherman on March 28, 1969 in Richview and she passed away on April 20, 2024.  Also preceding him in death were his parents, 5 brothers and 5 sisters.

Left to mourn his passing is his son Aaron (Kimberly) Newman of Alma, daughter Heather (Matthew) Von Burg of Richview, 11 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.

Tom was a graduate of Centralia High School and retired from Continental Tire Company in Mt. Vernon.  He loved to travel and visit with family and friends.

Cremation will be performed and a celebration of life service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 1, 2025 at the Richview Methodist Church.  Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of the Donor’s choice. Styninger Funeral Home in Nashville is in charge of arrangements
