Thomas Musielak, 95 of Oakdale, passed away at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 12, 2013 at his residence. He was born on June 30, 1918 in Pilot Knob Township, the son of Joe and Wanda Smugala Musielak. He married Pearl Frye on May 24, 1941 in Todds Mill and she survives. Also surviving are 2 sister in laws; Evelene "Mary" Musielak of Nashville and Lavon Diehl of Metamora, along with several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by 6 brothers and 4 sisters as well as his parents.
Mr. Musielak was a member of the Coulterville Baptist Church. He retired from National Mine Service in Nashville and farmed in the Oakdale area. He enjoyed hard work and fishing.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, December 16th at the Styninger Funeral Home in Nashville with his nephew Rev. Terry Jackson officiating. Burial will follow in the Concord Cemetery in Rice with Rev. Kenneth Robison officiating the committal. Friends may call from 9:30 a.m. until service time on Monday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Heartland Hospice.
