Taylor Emelie Haacke, 15 of Venedy, passed away in the evening of Wednesday, May 1, 2024 at SSM Cardinal Glennon Hospital in St. Louis with her family at her side. She was born on July 2, 2008 in Nashville, the daughter of Scott and Shannan Hummert Haacke. Left to mourn her passing are her parents of Venedy, a sister Lauren Haacke at home. Her grandparents; Leroy and Dianne Hummert of Venedy, Cheri (Dave) Gladney of Okawville and Rich (Mary Lou Weyrich) Haacke of Frontenac, MO. Uncle Tony Haacke of St. Louis, MO., aunt Kristine Wolf of Addieville, cousins Maci and Kaylee Wolf. Her Godparents; Aaron Wolf of Addieville and Julie Lange of St. Libory.
Taylor was a Junior at Okawville High School where she sang in the chorus. She was a member of St. Peter’s UCC Stone Church and loved playing the piano, tending to her ducks, singing, painting rocks and spending time with her boyfriend Emil Galliano of Okawville.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, May 6, 2024 at St. Peter’s UCC Stone Church with Rev. Rick Arnold officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Friends may call from 3:00 to 6:00 p.m. on Sunday and Monday from 10:00 to 10:45 a.m. at the church. Memorial contributions may be made to her church or Cardinal Glennon Hospital. Styninger Funeral Home in Nashville is in charge of arrangements.
