Sharon G. Belcher, 74 of Richview, passed away at 6:51 p.m. on Sunday, August 25, 2019 at her residence. She was born on June 29, 1945 in Centralia, the daughter of Charles Wesley and Ada Stelzriede Groves. She was preceded in death by her parents, a son Tony Funk and a grandson; Kaden Cody and her special friend Steven Gwin. Left to mourn her passing is a son; Willie (Denise) Belcher of Henry, TN, a daughter; Melissa (Byron Burnett) Brown of Richview. A sister; Mary Ellen Howe of Irvington. A son in law; Terry Burnet. 2 daughter in laws; Alicia Knepper of Breese and Mary Kay Robbins of Carlyle. 10 grandchildren; Nichole Funk, Michael Funk, Danielle Brown, Devin Belcher, Haylee Belcher, Destiny Burnett, Kianna Harris, Adreanna Harris, Dakota Starr and Kayla Starr. 10 great grandchildren; Kylen, Karter, Jaxon, Miley, Brooklyn, Kailee, Brandon, London, Myla and Aiden.
Sharon was a graduate of Centralia High School. She worked as a waitress at Gibby’s Steak House and the Corner Café both in Centralia. She was a member of Calvary Apostolic Church in Richview. She enjoyed taking care of people, planting flowers, cooking and spending time with her grandchildren.
A memorial visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 29, 2019 at Styninger Funeral Home in Nashville. Memorial contributions are suggested.
