Savitaben Patel

Savitaben Patel, 89 of Nashville passed away at 3:28 p.m. on Tuesday, December 9, 2025 at Washington County Hospital in Nashville with her family at her side.  She was born on October 22, 1936 in Vihan, India the daughter of Muljibhai and Bhuliben Patel.  She married Dhirajbhai Patel in 1957 in India and he passed away on June 28, 2019.  Also preceding her in death were her parents and a son Kantibhai Patel.

Left to mourn her passing are 2 sons; Hank (Nisha) Patel of Nashville and Nick (Nina) Patel of Memphis, TN.  2 daughters; Sadhana (Mike) Desai and Vanita (Mike) Desai both of Tuscon, AZ.  8 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.  Mrs. Patel was of the Hindu faith.

Funeral service will begin at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 13, 2025 at Styninger Funeral Home in Nashville with Priest Gursev Singh officiating. Vistation will be held from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home. Cremation rites will be performed following the funeral service.
