Sandy Alfeldt Obituary

 

Mary Sandra “Sandy” Alfeldt, 79 of Nashville formerly of Oakdale, passed away at 8:05 a.m. on Thursday, February 22, 2024 at her residence.  She was born on February 13, 1945 in Highland, the daughter of Hubert and Helen Woker Cantrill.  She married Enloe Alfeldt on February 4, 1966 in Greenville and he passed away.  Also preceding her in death were her parents and a brother Jim Cantrill.

Left to mourn her passing are her 3 sons and their families: Jason and his wife DeeDee, their daughter Jacie, stepson Cory Stanley, and great grand kids Zoe and Layla all of O'Fallon MO - Tim and his wife Jodi, their daughter Megan and son Drew of Denver CO - Andy and his wife Kim, and their daughters Madison and Abby of Nashville TN Sister - Cindy and her husband Phil Shy of New Minden IL and her sister-in-law Sheri Cantrill of Greenville.

Sandy retired as an administrative assistant at Nascote Industries in Nashville and was a long time member of the Oakdale United Presbyterian Church.

A celebration of life service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 23, 2024 at the United Presbyterian Church in Oakdale with Rev. Phil Carson officiating.  Friends may call from 9:00 a.m. until service time on Saturday at the church.  Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association or the American Diabetes Association.  Styninger Funeral Home in Nashville is in charge of arrangements..
