Ronnie Lynn Jolliff, 79 of Centralia, passed away at 11:18 a.m. on Wednesday, May 28, 2025 at his home with his family at his side. He was born on February 6, 1946 in Centralia, the son of Leo and Louise Williams Jolliff. He married Marilyn Koelling on September 7, 1968 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Hoyleton and she survives. Also surviving are his daughters; Kim (Chuck) Fairbanks of Nashville and Carla (Patrick) Endres of Centralia. 3 grandchildren; Cali Fairbanks, Avery and Aiden Endres. 2 sisters; Mary Mandrell and Helen (Curt) Rueter both of Centralia. He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother Ben Jolliff and 2 sisters; Bertha Knapp and Francis Swartzlander.
Ronnie was a Sergeant in the United States Army serving in Vietnam. He retired from the Illinois Central Railroad and farmed. He was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church in Hoyleton and served for many years on the Irvington School Board. He enjoyed attending his grandchildren’s extracurricular activities and loved tractors, farming and family.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, June 2, 2025 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Hoyleton with Rev. Nathan Wollenberg officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery with military rites. Friends may call from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Sunday, June 1, 2025 at the church. Memorial contributions may be made to the Kaskaskia Workshop or his church. Styninger Funeral & Cremation Chapel in Hoyleton is in charge of arrangements.
