Ronald L Daum

Ronald L. “Ronnie” Daum, 76 of Nashville, passed away at 9:02 p.m. on Sunday, July 30, 2023 at St. Louis University Hospital in St. Louis.  He was born on September 20, 1946 in Covington, the son of George and Helen Burnett Daum.  He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother Wilfred Daum and 2 sisters Sharon Daum and Darlene Spinnie.  Left to mourn his passing are 2 brothers; Harold Daum of Edwardsville and Gary Daum of Kincaid. 

He was a lifelong member of the St. Luke’s Lutheran Church in Covington where he mowed the cemetery for many years.  Ronnie could often be seen driving around town in his little truck pulling a trailer with his mower on it. He loved to visit with people, especially the morning customers at the hardware store. 

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, August 4, 2023 at Styninger Funeral Home in Nashville with Rev. Timothy Mueller officiating.  Burial will follow in the St. Luke’s Lutheran Church Cemetery in Covington.  Friends may call one hour prior to services on Friday.  Memorial contributions may be made to the St. Luke’s Lutheran Cemetery
