Pamela J. Chambers, 56 of Nashville passed away at 4:44 a.m. on Saturday, September 13, 2014 in the emergency room at Washington County Hospital. She was born on March 21, 1958 in Urbana, the daughter of Joe K. And Helen Pantle Lee. She married Timothy M. Chambers on August 6, 1977 in Tuscola and he survives in Nashville. Also left to mourn her passing is a son; Andrew A. Chambers of Nashville, a daughter; Danielle E. Chambers and fiance Adam Therrian of St. Clair Shores, MI. Her mother in law; Bernice Chambers of Nashville and a sister in law; Jan (David) Wever of White Heath. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Mrs. Chambers received her Master’s Degree in Education from Mc Kendree University. She was the Assistant Director of Mc Kendree University at Scott Air Force Base in Shiloh. She previously worked as an X-Ray technician at Mc Kinley Hospital and Carle Clinic both in Urbana. She was a member of the Grace United Methodist Church in Nashville where she was a Sunday School Teacher, a member of the Trustees and Endowment Board. She was a member of the William Mc Kendree Society. She enjoyed flowers, gardening and baking.
A celebration of life service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, September 17th at Grace United Methodist Church in Nashville with Rev. John Prather officiating. Burial will follow in the North Prairie Cemetery near Hoyleton. Friends may call from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday at the CHURCH. Memorial contributions may be made to the Susan G. Kohman Cancer Center. Styninger Funeral Home in Nashville is in charge of arrangements.
