Neil Allen Diedrich

Neil Allen Diedrich, 83 of Nashville, passed away at 6:10 p.m. on Wednesday, April 24, 2024 at Friendship Manor Health Center in Nashville.  He was born on August 1, 1940 in DuQoin, the son of Otis and Ruth McPherson Diedrich.  He married Darleen Dinkelman on January 21, 1967 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Nashville and they later divorced.  He is survived by 3 sons; Clinton Neil (Robin) Diedrich of Chesterfield, MO, Lanny L. (Jada) Diedrich of Ballwin, MO and Dustin A. (Erin) Diedrich of Nashville.  7 grandchildren; Eli, Olivia, Evan, Lucy, William, Owen and Evelyn Diedrich.  He was preceded in death by his parents, step father Ralph Roach and a step brother Tim Roach.

Neil graduated from Kaskaskia College.  He first worked as a mechanic at Diedrich Implement Company in Nashville and later purchased and operated the Shoe Mart in Nashville.  He retired from Ligma Industries in Nashville.  He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Nashville and the Nashville Men’s Golf League.  He loved to play golf and go on golf trips with his sons and friends, bowl and watch his children and grandchildren’s sporting events.

Cremation was performed and a celebration of life service will be held at a later date.  Memorial contributions may be made to the Trinity Lutheran Church or the Nashville Men’s Golf League. Styninger Funeral Home in Nashville is in charge of arrangements
