Michael Lee Sweazea, 65 of Radom, passed away at 11:40 a.m. on Tuesday, October 29, 2013 at Good Samaritan Regional Health Center in Mt. Vernon.  He was born on June 5, 1948 in St. Louis the son of Milburn and Joyce Hager Sweazea.  He married Gloria Jean Cadwallader on October 16, 1967 in St. Louis and she survives in Radom.  Also surviving is a son; Mark Sweazea and fiancé Connie Parker of DeSoto, MO.  2 daughters; Marcie Sweazea of Vandalia, MO and Melissa Williams and fiance Shane Wade of Jefferson City, MO.  6 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.  His mother; Joyce Kent of Marble Hill, MO. 2 brothers; Steve Sweazea of DeSoto, MO and John Sweazea of St. Louis.  5 sisters; Sharon Taylor of St. Louis, Cindy Miller of South Bend, IN., Pam Westbecher of Marble Hill, MO., Mindy Sweazea of Warrenton, MO. And Jamie Sweazea of Marble Hill, MO.  His mother in law; Jane Cadwallader of Radom and his faithful pet Boston Terrier; "Petey".

He was preceded in death by his father, a brother; Corkie Sweazea and 2 sisters; Carol Oliver and Glenna Sweazea.

Mr. Sweazea was a retired autobody technician and enjoyed wood working, camping and being in the outdoors.  He will be dearly missed and loved.

In keeping with the wishes of the family, Michael will be cremated and there will be no services.  Styninger Funeral Home in Nashville is in charge of arrangements.
