Michael Ray Kinzel, 63 of Venedy, passed away at 11:12 p.m. on Tuesday, June 8, 2021 at his residence. He was born on August 1, 1957 in Red Bud, the son of Virgil C. and Bernice A. Reitz Kinzel. He was preceded in death by his parents. Left to mourn his passing is a brother David (Jeanine) Kinzel of St. Peter, MO. A sister Virginia Kay (Omar) Feeler of St. Louis, Missouri. His fiance’ Sissy Hosselton of Richview along with her son Trevor (Brittany) Hosselton and their son Owen. 2 nephews; Nicholas and Jeffery Kinzel, a niece Kristina (Phil) Haas and their children; Fitzpatrick, Oliver and Corban Haas.
Mike graduated from Rankin Technical College and was a truck driver for Dave Hepp Trucking in New Athens. He was a member of St. Peter United Church of Christ in Stone Church, a 36 year member of the Washington Lodge #55 AF&AM in Nashville and the Belleville Shrine Club.
A private graveside service will be held on Saturday, June 12, 2021 at Masonic Cemetery in Nashville. Friends may call from 5:00 to 7:30 p.m. on Friday at the Styninger Funeral Home in Nashville. There will be a Masonic Rites service at 7:30 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the St. Peter United Church of Christ in Stone Church.
