Mark Allen Carter 61 of Redlands, California, passed away at 9:07 p.m. on Friday, May 22, 2015 in the emergency room at Washington County Hospital in Nashville.  He was born on September 16, 1953 in Long Beach, California the son of Sam and Betty Freese Carter.  Left to mourn his passing is his father; Sam Carter of Orange, CA. His mother:  Betty Moore of Redlands, CA.  A son; Todd Carter of Columbia, IL., A daughter; Sunni (Chris) Williams of Nashville.  A granddaughter; Genevive Eschmann of Nashville and a sister; Tracey Raffoul of Lavern, CA.  He was preceded in death by a brother; Chris Carter.

Mr. Carter was a former truck driver and the owner/operator of Deep Woods Beef Jerky Company in Redlands, CA.  He was the former CEO of Dimension Boats.  He enjoyed boat racing, boats and drag racing and lived life to the fullest.

There will be no public services.  Memorial contributions may be made to the Stroke Recovery Center of Palm Springs, CA.  Styninger Funeral Home in Nashville is in charge of cremation arrangements
