Margaret Ann Catherine King, 58 of Nashville entered into eternal rest at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 31, 2023 at the Highland Health Care Center in Highland. She was born on August 21, 1965 in Centralia, the daughter of James C. and Judy Ann Ellisor King Piro. She was preceded in death by her parents, a son Allen Wempe, sister Tamara Randant, a brother Jess King, a nephew Alexander Randant, step father Harold Piro and her dear friend Lee Hempen.
She is survived by her son Christopher Wempe of Pocahontas and her grandchildren; Ryan Strebel and Kelsey Wempe of Staunton.
Margaret was a member of Grace United Methodist Church in Nashville where she was active in the bell choir, served as an usher and was always eager to lend a hand to whatever need arose. She was a member of the American Legion and served as Secretary of the Nashville Public Library. She loved her dog Snoopy, her Nashville community and her many friends. She was a fan of the St. Louis Cardinals, Tik Tok and NASCAR. She especially enjoyed spending time with her son Christopher attending NASCAR races and the Centralia Balloon Festival.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, September 13, 2023 at the Grace United Methodist Church in Nashville with Rev. Leanne Noland officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to Grace United Methodist Church or the Washington County American Cancer Society Relay For Life. Styninger Funeral Home in Nashville is in charge of arrangements.
