Lucille Woker Obituary

Lucille K. Dinkelman Woker, 93 of Nashville, passed away at 8:46 a.m. on Saturday, December 12, 2020 at Friendship Manor Health Center in Nashville.  She was born on October 31, 1927 in Addieville, the daughter of Martin C. and Clara Peitzmeyer Schrieber.  She first married Arthur Dinkelman on June 2, 1946 in rural Okawville and he passed away on August 24, 1981.  She then married Elmer Woker on June 18, 1983 in rural Okawville and he passed away on April 26, 2015.  Also preceding her in death were her parents, a son in law Gene Povolish, brother Harvey Schrieber, sister Vera Funke and a brother in law Roy Funke. Left to mourn her passing are 3 sons; Howard (Sue) Dinkelman, Roy Dinkelman and Marvin (Janet) Dinkelman all of Nashville.  A daughter Doris Povolish of Nashville.  2 step sons; Jerry (Carol) Woker of Okawville and Daryl (Jane) Woker of Greenfield, IN.  Step daughter Diana (Mike) Hurt of Basco.  9 grandchildren; Chris Dinkelman, Aaron Dinkelman, Jared (Angela) Dinkelman, Sarah Dinkelman, Seth Dinkelman, Shannon Dinkelman, Angie (Tommy) Shani, Adam (Jessy) Dinkelman and Jason (Vicki) Povolish.  8 great grandchildren, 5 step grandchildren and 6 step great grandchildren.  2 nephews; Mark and Gene Funke and a niece Cara (Dave) Kurwicki.

She was baptized November 20, 1927 and confirmed on April 6, 1941 at Olive Branch Lutheran Church in rural Okawville.  She was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church in Nashville where she sang in the choir and was a member of LWML.  Lucille was a homemaker and  enjoyed quilting, word search puzzles, playing the harmonica, organ and accordion and especially enjoyed spending time with her family.

Friends may call from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. on Friday, December 18, 2020 at Styninger Funeral Home in Nashville.  A private funeral service will follow with Rev. James Miller officiating.  Burial will be in the Trinity Lutheran Cemetery in Nashville.  Memorial contributions may be made to Trinity Lutheran Church.
