Larry Edward Musielak, 78 of Oakdale, passed away at 11:34 a.m. on Tuesday, November 18, 2025 at Pinckneyville Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. He was born on January 25, 1947 in Oakdale, the son of Edward and Evelene Frye Musielak. He was preceded in death by his parents, a son Larry Musielak, Jr. and a granddaughter Jaycee Jackson. Left to mourn his passing are 2 sons; Rodney (Lisa) Musielak of Pinckneyville and Charles (Traci Redman) Musielak of Nashville. 3 daughters; Bobby (Steve) Beimfhor of New Minden, Ronda Musielak and husbandTroy Lazenby of Marissa and Jodi (Drew Polczynski) Musielak of Nashville.14 grandchildren and 24 great grandchildren. 2 sisters; Pam (Terry) Jackson of Pinckneyville and Cheryl (Feliz) Contreras of Nashville.
Larry was a veteran of the United States Army and served as a police officer in his younger years. He retired as a security guard with Whelan Security Company.
Cremation will be performed. A memorial gathering of family and friends will be held from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Monday, November 24, 2025 at Styninger Funeral Home in Nashville. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital
