Kevin Dean Harre, 51 of Nashville passed away at 5:59 a.m. on Tuesday, October 8, 2013 in the emergency room at Barnes Jewish Hospital in St. Louis. He was born on February 7, 1962 in Pinckneyville the son of Raymond W. and Ida Kuhlman Harre. He married Susan Krueger on November 11, 1989 in Hoyleton and she survives in Nashville. Also surviving is his son; Jordan Ray Harre at home, daughter; Ashley Sue Harre and boyfriend Michael Wilson of Nashville. 2 brothers; Rev. Richard (Ruth) Harre of Auburn, IL. And Danny (Barb) Harre of Nashville. 4 sisters; Marilyn (Syl) Stiegman of Nashville, Marcile (Ron) Jack of Farmington, MO., Phyllis (Rodney) Silger of Hoyleton and Debbie (Brad) Meyer of Nashville. His father in law and mother in law; Roy and Carol Krueger of Hoyleton, a brother in law; Randy (Cheryll) Krueger of New Minden and a sister in law; Cheryl (Randy) Ruggles of Nashville. He was preceded in death by his parents, 2 brothers; Bill and Ken Harre and a sister; Margene Reves.
Kevin was a 1980 graduate of Nashville Community High School. He was a lifetime farmer which he loved. He was a member of Trinity Lutheran church in Nashville where he served as an usher. He was a member of the Washington County Farm Bureau and NCHS Sports Boosters. Kevin was active in tractor pull events and enjoyed watching his kids sporting events.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, October 11th at Trinity Lutheran Church in Nashville with Rev.'s Russell Johnson and Matthew Wietfeldt officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Friends may call after 5:00 p.m. on Thursday at the church and from 7:30 a.m. until service time on Friday. Memorial contributions may be made to Trinity Lutheran Church, Trinity St. John Lutheran School, NCHS Sports Boosters or Siteman Cancer Center. Styninger Funeral Home in Nashville is in charge of arrangements.
