Obituary

 

Kathy P. Reed, 62 of Ashley, passed away at 8:06 a.m. on Wednesday, August 17, 2022 at her residence after a long illness.  She was born on March 25, 1960 in Calhoun County, Illinois, the daughter of Gilbert and Iva Mae Jones Pyatt.  She married Larry A. Reed on December 31, 2001 in Okawville and he survives in Ashley.  Also left to mourn her passing is her daughter Melinda (Tim) Traub of Okawville.  2 grandchildren; Tyler and Levi Traub.  2 brothers; Kendall Pyatt of Carrolton and Mark Pyatt of Greenfield.  3 sisters; Patty Van Leersum of Columbia, TN., Linda and Mary Sethaler both of Carrolton.  She was preceded in death by her parents and 2 brothers; Aaron and Gib Pyatt.

Kathy was a graduate of Carrolton High School.  She enjoyed reading, being outdoors and collecting dolls.

All services will be private. Styninger Funeral Home in Nashville is in charge of arrangements.
