Joseph A. Tyler 82 of Nashville, passed away at 12:46 p.m. on Thursday, November 20, 2025 at Washington County Hospital in Nashville. He was born on November 15, 1943 in Bluford, the son of Leslie and Mamie Leathers Tyler. He married Caroyln Brown on June 30, 1962 in Oregon, Illinois. Besides his wife of 63 years, he is survived by a son Michael Tyler of Nashville, a sister Betty Wierschke of Dixon, Illinois. 4 grandchildren; Joseph, Leslie, Jennifer and Kristen and 2 great grandchildren; Gunner and Colin. He was preceded in death by his parents, 2 sons; Ron and Kurt Tyler, 2 brothers; Walt and Paul Tyler and 2 sisters; Sheila and Sharon Tyler.
Joseph was a union drywall finisher with Painters Local #137 in St. Louis. He also enjoyed farming and raising cattle but his passion was hunting and fishing.
Cremation will be performed and there will be no services. Styninger Funeral Home in Nashville is in charge of arrangements
