Jane Lee McFeron 64 of Nashville, passed away at 7:40 p.m. on Tuesday, July 7, 2015 at her residence. She was born on November 29, 1950 in Nashville, the daughter of Frank C. and Elda Barkau Diegel. She was baptized on October 11, 1953 by Rev. M.R. Zielinsky and confirmed on September 13, 1970 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Nashville by Rev. Arnold Wagner. She married Charles McFeron on February 28, 1970 at Trinity Lutheran Church and he survives. Also left to mourn her passing are 2 daughters; Heather and Jennifer McFeron both of Nashville. 2 grandchildren; Brody and Sophie. 4 sisters; Vernice (Louis) Bury of Hazlewood, MO, Bernice Voss of Nashville, LaVern (Ralph) Smith of Nashville and Norma Ibendahl of Kenosha, ,WI. 2 brother in laws; Tom (Dolly) McFeron of Nashville and John (Sheila) McFeron of Ashley. She was preceded in death by her parents, a son; Charles Chester in infancy, 2 sisters; Lucille Bury and Katherine Turner.
Jane was a cook at Friendship Manor Health Center in Nashville retiring in 2000. She also worked at Toppers restaurant and Gas Mart in Nashville as well as the Ashley Candy Factory. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Nashville and loved to play bingo.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, July 13, 2015 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Nashville with Rev. Aaron Kotila officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Friends may call from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Sunday at the Styninger Funeral Home in Nashville and one hour prior to services on Monday at the church. Memorial contributions may be made to Washington County Relay For Life.
