Helen A. Weihe, 89 of Nashville formerly of Hoyleton, passed away at 5:10 p.m. on Thursday, January 25, 2018 at SSM Good Samaritan Regional Health Center in Mt. Vernon. She was born on February 20, 1928 in Venedy, the daughter of Elmer and Lillie Eigenrauch. She married Erwin Weihe on May 23, 1954 in Plum Hill and he passed away on September 9, 2007. Also preceding her in death were her parents, a son; Rick Weihe, a daughter; Nancy Markham and her sister; Darlene Groennert. Left to mourn her passing is her son; Dwayne Weihe of Beacoup. 2 grandchildren; Brandon Weihe of Covington and Halee Weihe of Nashville. A great grandchild; Kayden Weihe.
Helen was a long time member of the Trinity Lutheran Church in Hoyleton.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, January 30, 2018 at the Styninger Funeral and Cremation Chapel in Hoyleton with Rev. Nathan Wollenberg officiating. Burial will follow in the Trinity Lutheran Church cemetery in Hoyleton. Friends may call from 10:30 a.m. until service time Tuesday at the funeral chapel. Memorial contributions may be made to Trinity Lutheran Church.
