Gabriel Shubert Obituary

Gabriel T. Shubert, 45 of Nashville, passed away at noon on Saturday, April 1, 2023 near Carbondale from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. He was born on August 10, 1977 in Nashville, the son of Jay and Monica Little Shubert. He is survived by his parents of Nashville, a daughter Amelia Rose Shubert and her mother Alaine Barsos of Nashville2 brothers; Jacob and Ethan Shubert both of Nashville and a sister Rachel Grunloh of Piqua, OH. He was preceded in death by a brother Heath Shubert and his grandparents.

Gabe was a graduate of Nashville Community High School and Kaskaskia College and also studied electronics at Vatterott College. He loved repairing electronics and restoring collectibles. He enjoyed computers, playing chess and guitar.

A celebration of life service will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to establish a trust fund for his daughter. Styninger Funeral Home in Nashville is in charge of arrangements.
