Evelyn E (Baldwin) Wiegmann

Evelyn E. Wiegmann, 91 of Oakdale, passed away at 5:05 p.m. on Wednesday, July 7, 2021 at her home with her loving family by her side.  She was born on July 21, 1929 in Lynbrook, NY, the daughter of Robert M. and Ella E. Abrams Baldwin.  She married Frederick A. Wiegmann on November 23, 1950 in Long Island, NY and he passed away on January 24, 1973.  Also preceding her in death were her parents, 2 brothers; Elbert and George Baldwin.  2 son in laws; Roger McClurken and Richard Stein.  Left to mourn her passing is a son Frederick Robert Wiegmann of Sacramento, CA. 3 daughters; Linda Mayer and husband Hector of Ventura, CA, Nancy McClurken and husband Charles McDaniel of Oakdale and Carol Stein and special friend Lee Shoemaker of Oakdale.  5 grandchildren; Laurie Foster, Justin Mayer, Danelle McKinstry, Ria Collins and Samantha Stein.  5 step grandchildren; Mark, Virgil, Milton, Timothy and Katie.  4 great grandchildren and acquired grandchildren through her babysitting; Courtney, Ben, Brittany and Kaitlin Wisely.

Evelyn was a homemaker and enjoyed babysitting.  She was a member of the Coulterville VFW Auxillary and was an avid bingo player.  She was very charitable and often donated to various charities.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, July 12, 2021 at the Oakdale Town Hall with Chaplain Royal Boeder officiating. Burial will follow in the Oakdale Cemetery.  Friends may call from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Sunday at the Oakdale Town Hall.  Memorial contributions may be made to Washington County Animal Shelter or Vitas Hospice.  Styninger Funeral Home in Nashville is in charge of arrangements.
