Evelene Musielak, 91 of Oakdale, passed away at 4:45 p.m. on Wednesday, February 14, 2018 at Friendship Manor Health Center in Nashville. She was born on September 18, 1926 in Washington County, the daughter of James Otis and Josephine Stearns Frye. She married Edward J. Musielak on March 12, 1946 in Todds Mill and he passed away on August 16, 2010. Also preceding her in death were her parents, her twin sister Margaret in infancy, a sister; Myrtle Davis, 3 other siblings, a grandson; Larry Musielak, Jr., a great granddaughter; Jacee Jackson and 3 brother in laws. Left to mourn her passing is her son; Larry Musielak of Oakdale. 2 daughters; Pam (Terry) Jackson of Pinckneyville and Cheryl (Feliz) Contreras of Nashville. 2 sisters; Pearl Musielak of Oakdale and Lavon Diehl of Metamora. 9 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren and 8 great great grandchildren.
Evelene was a homemaker and member of the Oakdale Baptist Church.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 17, 2018 at Styninger Funeral Home in Nashville with her son in law Rev. Terry Jackson officiating. Burial will follow in Concord Cemetery in Rice. Friends may call from 8:00 a.m. until service time on Saturday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Friendship Manor Health Center.
