Elfrieda Ann (Kleinschmidt) Hoelscher

Elfrieda Ann Hoelscher, 91 formerly of Belleville and Carlyle, passed away at 1:40 p.m. on Friday, July 9, 2021 at Aviston Countryside Manor.  She was born on May 2, 1930 in Nashville, the daughter of Adam W. and Martha E. Pfeiffer Kleinschmidt.  She married Homer W. Hoeslcher on November 4, 1950 in St.Louis, MO and he passed away on November 16, 1996.  She was also preceded in death by her parents.  Left to mourn her passing is a sister in law Helen Meentemeyer of Kingwood, TX and several cousins, nieces and nephews.

Elfrieda was formerly employed as a secretary in an insurance office.  She was a member of Trinity United Church of Christ in Belleville.  Her confirmation verse was Psalm 100, verse 2.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, July 13, 2021 at Styninger Funeral Home in Nashville with Rev. Don Jones officiating.  Burial will follow in the St. John’s UCC Cemetery in Plum Hill.  Friends may call from 9:30 a.m. until service time on Tuesday. Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
