Eldor C. Frederking 89 of Nashville, passed away at 1:10 p.m. on Thursday, May 07, 2015 at Washington County Hospital in Nashville.  He was born on August 7, 1925 in rural Nashville, the son of Oscar and Alinda Roesner Frederking.  He married Frieda L. Reinkensmeyer on June 12, 1955 at Messiah Lutheran Church in Carlyle and she passed away on December 2, 2013.  Also preceding him in death were his parents, a daughter Emily, a brother in law; Harry Bernthal a sister in law; Vera Harre and a God son; Brad Harre.  Left to mourn his passing is a daughter; Connie Frederking of Nashville.  2 sons; Mark (Karen) Frederking of Nashville and Duane (Lori) Frederking of Chatham.  4 grandchildren; Dan Frederking, Jenna (James) Ford, Kristi Frederking and fiancé Steve Malawy and Ryan Frederking.  2 sisters; Bernice Bernthal of St. Louis and Dolores Frederking of Nashville.  A brother; Wilfred (Mary Ann) Frederking of Nashville, and 2 brother in laws; Alvin (Mildred)  Reinkensmeyer of Carlyle and Wilmer (Peggy) Harre of Nashville.  Several nieces and nephews also survive.

Eldor was an Army veteran of the Korean War.  He was a dairy farmer near Nashville most of his life.  He was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church in Nashville where he held numerous offices.  He was a long time officer of AAL and served on the Washington County Farm Bureau board for 12 years.

 Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, May 11, 2015 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Nashville with Rev.’s Paul Cwynar and Matthew Wietfeldt officiating.  Burial will follow in the Hahlen Lutheran Cemetery in rural Nashville with military rites accorded by the American Legion Post #110.  Friend may call from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Sunday at the Styninger Funeral Home in Nashville and one hour prior to services on Monday at the church.  Memorial contributions may be made to Trinity-St. John Lutheran School or Washington County Meals on Wheels.
