Edna Fern Owens 77 of Nashville, passed away at 7:45 p.m. on Sunday, December 28, 2014 at Friendship Manor Health Center in Nashville.  She was born on September 13, 1937 in Centralia, the daughter of Archie and Helen Self Emrick Claybourne.  She married L. Orville “Bud” Owens on October 15, 1955 in Centralia and he passed away on May 27, 2000.  Also preceding her in death were her parents and a nephew SSgt Jordan Emrick.  Left to mourn her passing is a son; Barry D. Owens of Nashville, a grandson Klayton Owens of Chester.  2 brothers; Noel Claybourne of Richview and Terry Emrick of Cynthiana, KY.  2 sisters; Eva Meadows of Walnut Hill and Judy Pauly of Centralia.

Mrs. Owens was a member of Grace United Methodist Church in Nashville.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, December 31^st at the Styninger Funeral Home in Nashville with Rev. Jeff Van Dyke officiating.  Burial will follow in the Masonic Cemetery in Nashville.  Friends may call one hour prior to services on Wednesday at the funeral home.  Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of the donors choice.
