Edna Eastman, 98 of Nashville, passed away at 10:10 p.m. on Sunday, June 7, 2026 at Odin Rehabilitation and Care Center in Odin. She was born on August 30, 1927 near Centralia, the daughter of Amos and Lena Pugh Neabuhr. She married Herbert Eastman on September 20, 1947 in Mayfield, KY and he passed away on March 2, 1985. Also preceding her in death were her parents, a son Tom Eastman, a sister Anna Ziegler and 4 brothers; Paul, Amos, Jr., William and Marion Neabuhr.
Left to mourn her passing is a son Allen Eastman of Nashville. A daughter Cheryl A. Eastman of Nashville. 4 grandchildren; Allen (Stephanie) Eastman, Jr., Elysha (Paul) Baker, Mollie Eastman and Megan Bevers. 5 great grandchildren; Jason, Myla, Arinna, Ryleigh and Bryce. 3 great great grandchildren; Brynleigh, Ryker and Blayke-Ann.
Edna was a member of Grace United Methodist Church in Nashville and the Nashville Ladies Legion Auxillary. She worked for many years as a clerk at Stratman’s IGA and Alco both in Nashville. She loved to cook, play bingo and watch the Golden Girls on television.
A memorial service will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, June 13, 2026 at Styninger Funeral Home in Nashville with Randy Fark officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
