Dorothy J. Lilienkamp, 87 of Richview, passed away at 2:30 a.m. on Wednesday, October 9, 2019 at her residence. She was born on January 16, 1932 in North Prairie, the daughter of Henry and Pearl Acker Hongsermeier. She married Orville Lilienkamp on April 9, 1950 in Hoyleton and he passed away on November 5, 1999. Also preceding her in death were her parents, 3 brothers; Harry, Roy and Walter Hongsermeier and 2 sisters in infancy; Deloris and Betty Hongsermeier. Left to mourn her passing is a son; Tommy (Connie) Lilienkamp of Christina, TN and 4 daughters; Kathy (David) Mulvin of Centralia, Susan (Michael) Brammeier of Nashville, Sally (Alan) Knox of Irvington and Pearl (Mark) Spidle of Danville. A brother; Alvin (Betty) Hongsermeier of Collinsville. 10 grandchildren; Renee Quillen, Kelly Melton, Mike Brammeier, Kerri Brammeier, Jenny Moore, Clint Spidle, Nick Spidle, Matthew Lilienkamp, Heather Shellnutt and Andrea Hutchins. 15 great grandchildren.
Dorothy retired from Little Fuse in Centralia. She started the Washington Girl Scout council in 1969 and enjoyed sewing, painting and doing crafts.
Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 12, 2019 at Friedens UCC Cemetery in Irvington with Rev. Mark Mitchell officiating. Friends may call from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Friday at the Styninger Funeral & Cremation Chapel in Hoyleton. Memorial contributions may be made to Alzheimer’s Research.
