Dorene Kay (Hiller) Anderson

Dorene Kay Anderson, 69 of Hoyleton, formerly of Nashville, passed away at 12:00 a.m. on Tuesday, April 8, 2025 at HSHS St. Elizabeth’s Hospital in O’Fallon.  She was born on March 14, 1956 in East St. Louis, the daughter of William and Doris Miller Hiller.  She married Ronnie Anderson on January 5, 1974 in Marissa and he passed away on July 30, 2004.  Also preceding her in death were her parents, a brother Tim Tedrow and her sister Theresa Reeves.

Left to mourn her passing are her sons; Ronnie E. (Stephanie) Anderson, Jr. of Hoyleton, Darrel W. (Dawn) Anderson of Nashville and Dale W. (Shana) Anderson of New Minden. 3 brothers; William Hiller, Jr., Ronnie (Sherry) Hiller and Ray (Alicia) Hiller.  A sister Chris Fudge.  7 grandchildren; Keegan (Chelsea) Anderson of New Baden, Austin Anderson of Hoyleton, Dale Anderson, Jr. of New Minden, Katlyn Anderson of Oakdale, Matthew Anderson of Ashley, Khloe and Mylie Anderson of Nashville.  2 great grandchildren; Karsyn and Skyler Anderson.

Dorene loved to bake, do crafts and spend time with her family.

Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, April 11, 2025 at Greenwood Cemetery in Nashville with Rev. Brian Tedrow officiating. Friends are asked to go directly to the cemetery.  Memorials may be made to a charity of the donors choice.  Styninger Funeral Home in Nashville is in charge of arrangements
