Deloris Barboza, 72 of Nashville, passed away at 8:00 a.m. on Tuesday, May 17, 2022 at her residence. She was born on March 21, 1950 in Dallas, TX, the daughter of Albert and Consuelo Corpus Rivera. She married Robert Barboza on February 1, 1969 in St. Louis, MO and he passed away on June 24, 2016. Also preceding her in death were her parents, a brother Albert Rivera, Jr. 2 sisters; Yolanda Joliff and Bence Rodriguez. Left to mourn her passing are 3 daughters; Angela Fulks of Kirkwood, MO. Lupe Barboza of Granite City and Toni (fiance Scott Modert) Barboza of Nashville. 8 grandchildren, great grandchildren and a half sister Rebecca Rivera of Dallas, TX. 2 special friends; Ruth Henderson and Mary Beth Gaebe along with several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Deloris was a self employed seamstress in Nashville for several years and worked in both the dietary and housekeeping departments of Washington County Hospital. She was a member of the Nashville Christian Church and enjoyed crocheting, sewing and spending time with her family which she adored.
A celebration of life service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, May 23, 2022 at the Nashville Christian Church with Rev. Les Boldt officiating. Memorial contributions are suggested and may be made to the Nashville Christian Church. Styninger Funeral Home in Nashville is in charge of arrangements
