Dale Lee Maschhoff 62 of Hoyleton, passed away at 2:08 a.m. on Sunday, April 28, 2013 at Good Samaritan Regional Health Center in Mt. Vernon.  He was born on September 24, 1950 in Centralia, the son of Leonard H. and Alma Maschhoff.  He was preceded in death by his parents.  Left to mourn his passing are 3 brothers; Randy, Donald (Ruth) and Ronald (Diane) Maschhoff all of Hoyleton.  2 nephews; Josh (Jennifer) and Justin Maschhoff.  2 nieces; Sara (Joe) Lombardo and Dora Maschhoff and a great nephew; Nicholas Lombardo along with aunts and uncles.

Dale was a graduate of Nashville Community High School and served for 6 years in the Illinois National Guard.  He was a partner in DD and RR Maschhoff brothers dairy farm in Hoyleton.  He was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church in Hoyleton and the Washington County Farm Bureau.  He enjoyed farming and hard work.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 1st at Trinity Lutheran Church in Hoyleton with Rev. Joshua Theilen officiating.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery with a military flag presentation by the Nashville American Legion Post #110.  Friends may call from 11:00 a.m. until service time on Wednesday at the church.  Memorial contributions may be made to the Trinity Lutheran Church or the American Heart Association.  Styninger Funeral Chapel in Hoyleton is in charge of arrangements .
