Chad Cornell Michael 53 of Krebs, Oklahoma formerly of New Minden, passed away at 6:40 a.m. on Sunday, February 21, 2016 at McAlester Regional Medical Center in McAlester, Oklahoma.  He was born on January 7, 1963 in Nashville, the son of Roger and Sharon Beek Michael.  Left to mourn his passing are his parents Roger and Sharon Michael of Rancho Mirage, CA.  His children; Sean, Lindsay and Paige of Georgia.  A brother; Timothy Michael of Lewisville, TX, Aunt and Uncles; Mary Lou and Allen Holzhauer of Oxnard, CA and Robin and Jim Wilkey of Nashville and their families.  A special friend; Patricia Blake of Oklahoma.  He was preceded in death by his grandparents; Wally and Adala Michael of Hoyleton and Robert and Virginia Beek of Nashville.

Chad was a graduate of Miami Oklahoma High School and received an Associate Degree in Automotive Marketing from North woods University in Cedar Hill, TX.  He worked in the automobile sales business his entire life.  He was an avid golfer and loved to watch NASCAR. Chad was a fan of the St. Louis Cardinals, Oklahoma Sooners and Dallas Cowboys.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 27th at Styninger Funeral Home in Nashville with Rev. Scott Sharp officiating.  Burial will follow in the St. Paul United Church of Christ cemetery in Nashville.  Friends may call from 9:30 a.m. until service time on Saturday at the funeral home.  Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association or a charity of the donor’s choice.
