Catherine Sue. Shewmake 61 of Nashville, passed away at 6:22 a.m. on Thursday, May 7, 2015 in the emergency room at Washington County Hospital in Nashville.  She was born on January 7, 1954 in East St. Louis, the daughter of Kenneth and Elizabeth Locklar Holbrook.  She married Don Shewmake on July 7, 2000 in Nashville and he survives.  Also surviving are 2 sons; Rennie and Ricky Hunt both of Carbondale.  A daughter; Vicki Holbrook of Gulf Breeze, Fl.  A sister; Falina Jensen of St. Louis a step grand daughter and her mother in law; Lana Follis of Nashville.  She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister Barb Butrey.

Mrs. Shewmake was a homemaker.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 14th at the Styninger Funeral Home in Nashville.  Burial will follow in the Greenwood Cemetery in Nashville.  Friends may call one hour prior to services at the funeral home.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested.
