Betty Jean Hampton, 70 of Nashville passed away at 11:30 p.m. on Wednesday, June 19, 2013 at Washington County Hospital in Nashville.  She was born on January 5, 1943 in Wayne, Michigan the daughter of Lawrence and Marie Farley Tuttle. She married Wesley Hampton on March 22, 1980 in Nashville and he survives in Nashville.  Also surviving is a brother; Bill Tuttle of Okawville.  A brother in law; Albert Hampton of Nason.  3 sister in laws; Betty Turner, Dolly McFeron and Diana Barnhart all of Nashville.

Betty attended the University of Michigan at Ann Arbor. She was a member of the First Christian Church in Nashville.  She enjoyed exploring caves and was a member of the National Spelunker's Society.  

A Celebration of Life service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, June 24th at the Styninger Funeral Home in Nashville with Rev. Les Boldt officiating.  Cremation rites have been accorded and there will be no visitation.
