Arlene Dueker of Nashville formerly of New Minden, departed this life at Washington County Hospital Extended Care in Nashville on Monday, August 10, 2015 at 3:40 p.m. She had attained the age of 90 years, 9 months and 17 days. Arlene was born in New Minden, IL on October 16, 1924, the daughter of Henry and Amelia (nee Finke) Winte. She was baptized in New Minden, IL by Rev. Korstering on November 2, 1924. She was confirmed on April 10, 1938 at St. John Lutheran Church in New Minden by Pastor Korstering. Arlene graduated from St. John Lutheran school in 1938. Arlene worked as a nanny in St. Louis, MO for several years. She then married Vesper Hagebusch on March 3, 1946. He preceded her in death. She then worked at Farm Service for 6 years. On February 3, 1973 she married Warren Dueker and he survives her passing. Arlene was a homemaker, she loved to scrapbook, read, embroidery, play cards and visit with family and friends. She loved to travel and took several trips to Germany and other European countries. She was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church in Nashville. She was a 4-H leader, a member of the Washington County Hoyleton Homemakers Extension, the Washington County Farm Bureau womens committee and numerous card clubs.

Left to mourn her passing are her husband Warren Dueker and a daughter Carol Brockmann and husband Dale of Okawville. 2 granddaughters; Lori Caloia and husband John of Traverse City, MI and Stacy Friedrich and husband Mark of Okawville. 1 grandson; Brian Jasper and wife Tosha of Nashville. 3 great grandchildren; Caleigh Friedrich, Caitlin Jasper and Kyle Jasper. A brother in law; Bert Dueker and a sister in law; Mary Louise Haege both of Nashville. Nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives.

She was preceded in death by 6 brother in laws; George Hagebusch, John Storck, Louis Worker, Melvin Roethemeyer, Gerhardt Hettenhausen and Dean Haege. 6 sister in laws; Alice Hagebusch, Violet Storck, Alverda Worker, Fern Roethemeyer, Mildred Hettenhausen and Doris Dueker.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, August 14, 2015 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Nashville withe Rev.'s Aaron Kotila and Matthew Wietfeldt officiating. Burial will follow in the North Prairie Cemetery near Hoyleton. Friends may call from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday at the Styninger Funeral Home in Nashville. Memorial contributions may be made to Trinity Lutheran Church in Nashville or the Washington County Hospital Extended Care Unit
