Amber Sue (Knuckles) Maurer

Amber Sue Maurer, 39 of Nashville, passed away at 6:45 a.m. on Friday, June 23, 2023 in the emergency room at Washington County Hospital in Nashville.  She was born on September 2, 1983 in Belleville, the daughter of Harold and Sheila Files Knuckles.  She is survived by her father of Nashville.  Also left to mourn her passing are her children; Austin, Sheila and Robert Maurer, Jr., Joshua Rickenberg, Sophia Knuckles and Aubrey Goza.  2 brothers; Harold Knuckles, Jr. of Sparta and Timothy Knuckles of Nashville. 4 sisters; Tina Knuckles of Millstadt, Danielle Landi of Marissa, Shannon Knuckles of Nashville and Ashley Goza of Nashville.  Several nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her mother and a brother Jonathon Knuckles. 

Amber was a stay at home mom.  She loved watching movies and spending time with her children. 

A celebration of life service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 8, 2023 at the Nashville Assembly of God Church with Rev. Matthew Craft officiating. Styninger Funeral Home in Nashville is in charge of arrangements.
