Wayne Perkey

V. Wayne Perkey, 62 of Nashville, passed away suddenly at 4:20 a.m. on Thursday, August 9, 2018 at Friendship Manor Health Center in Nashville.  He was born on May 26, 1956 in Chicago, the son of Virgil M. and Edna Reiter Perkey.  He was preceded in death by his parents, his stepmother; Aileen Perkey, a brother in law; Randy Markham, a nephew; Gary Remer and a niece; Stephanie Inman. Left to mourn his passing is his brother; Jeff Wreath of Nashville.  5 sisters; Sandy Markham of Nashville, Karen Bizzel of LaQuay, MO, Colleen Perkey of Hoyleton, Brenda Colston of Coulterville and Lisa Reynolds of Bonnie. 7 nephews; Randy Markham, Karl Markham and his children; Juleah, Karlie and Seth. Zach Wreath and his son Camden. Josh Inman and his children; Brynner, Brogan, Briley and Boone. Jason Inman and his children; Jason, Jr., Hayden and Garrett.  David Remer and his children; Kailee, Taylor and James and Thomas Reynolds and his children; Peyton and Jasmine.  6 nieces; Kacie Abernathy and her children; Sean, Jr. and Sydney. Megan Wreath and her children; Grayson and Ember.  Natasha Remer and her son Maddox.  Jami Colston and her children; Dalton and Bailee. Ashley Wilson and her children; Chloe and Olivia and Hannah Bair and her children; Bennett, Hezekiah and Rowan.

Wayne was formerly a janitor at the Germantown Egg Company.  He enjoyed playing cards and board games with his family and was always proud to be born in Cook County.

Graveside services will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Monday, August 13, 2018 at Greenwood Cemetery in Nashville with Rev. Tim Reynolds officiating.  Friends may call from 9:30 until 11:00 a.m. on Monday at the Styninger Funeral Home in Nashville.  Memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
