Dear Edna and family it saddens me to see in the news that Sam my favorite Buddy Rich passed away. I have not seen him for a while since I left Doctor Gewe but I thought of you both awesome and how I missed teasing with you guys when you came in. Sam alias Richard is very special to me. And I so enjoyed our conversations together. I know the past couple of years have been a very big struggle for him and so I say with confidence that I know Sam Richard Willis is in a much better place I know you will miss him but think of him often with that smile on his face and that quirky little attitude he always had I know I will. Our best to you and your family take care Barbara and Rick heidelberger

with great sadness i learned today of Mr. Willis' passing. he was a great man to me the years i was connected to the Willis Familoy, and after as well. i shall not forget the jovial attitude he dconveyed to all he came in contact with. to Edna, Debbie, and Lisa my deepest sympathies are extended to you and your families.. from a time long ago, with love Paul Middleton

Debbie and Lisa.....I am SO sorry to hear of your dad's passing. My parents enjoyed many Tour Trips with your parents. I have very fond memories of your dad.. You have my Sympathy..
