Joyce Dyson Obituary

Joyce Carlene Dyson, 81 of Nashville, passed away at 7:12 p.m. on Monday, September 16, 2019 at Washington County Hospital in Nashville. She was born on September 14, 1938 in Louisville, KY, the daughter of H. Addison and Juanita Cordelia Amos Smith. She married Dale D. Dyson on November 5, 1965 in Nashville and he passed away on October 30, 2015. Also preceding her in death were her parents. Left to mourn her passing is a son; Mike (Becky) Dyson of Pensacola, FL. A daughter; Carrie (Terry) Henson Voss of Nashville and several grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Joyce was a secretary and homemaker and along with her late husband, owned and operated JC’s Skating Rink in Nashville. She was a member of Faith Church in Sorento. She loved her Lord and studying the bible. She also enjoyed music, painting and the Christmas season.

Cremation was performed and there will be no public services. Styninger Funeral Home in Nashville is in charge of arrangements.
