Tillie Ann Dannaman, 74 of Monticello, formerly of Hoyleton, passed away at 5:30 a.m. on Tuesday, October 4, 2016 at the Piatt County Nursing Home in Monticello.  She was born on April 28, 1942 in Hoyleton, the daughter of Louis and Tillie Ann Hemminghaus Sprehe, Sr. She married Marvin Dannaman on June 11, 1961 in Hoyleton and he survives.  Besides her husband of 55 years, she is survived by a son; Larry Dannaman of Monticello.  4 grandchildren; Blake Harris of Salem, Kelsi Work of Indianapolis, IN and Aubree and Ashlyn Dannaman of Monticello.  3 great grandchildren; Bradon, Braxton and Baylor.  2 sisters; Valara Schorfheide of Granite City and Mary Lou (John) Seiffert of Centralia.  Brother in law; Bill (Cathy) Dannaman of Centralia and sister in laws; Gloria (Darrel) Eggeman of Okawville and Edith Sprehe of Centralia. Along with numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, 2 brothers; Virgil and Louis Sprehe, Jr. and a sister; Dorothy Huge.

Tillie was a graduate of Nashville High School and worked as a cashier at St. Mary’s Hospital in Centralia for 30 years.  She was also a switchboard operator for Seigler Furnace in Centralia and owned Tillie’s Billing Service.  She was a lifetime member of the Trinity Lutheran Church in Hoyleton and enjoyed baking, music and traveling with her family.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, October10, 2016 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Hoyleton with Rev. Tyler Hauptmeier and Rev. Kurtis Bueltmann officiating.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery.  Friends may call from 9:00 to 10:50 a.m. on Monday at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested. Styninger Funeral & Cremation Chapel in Hoyleton is in charge of arrangements.
