Shirley M. Moore 75 of Nashville, passed away at 1:43 p.m. on April 27, 2017 at Barnes Jewish Hospital in St. Louis.  She was born on August 26, 1941 in Rives, MO, the daughter of Sterling and Stella Simpson Sneed.  She married Rubin Moore on May 4, 1995 in Belleville and he passed away on January 23, 2016.  Also preceding her in death were 5 brothers; Cecil Davis, Vernon, Russell, Harold and Jimmy Sneed.  3 sisters; Lucille Ross, Wanda Lou Ross and Betty Sneed.  She is survived by her children; Brenda (Tommy) Bauer of Tilden, Michael (Denise) Hansson of Nashville, Sheila (Jeff Price) Cowsert of Waterloo and Landon Rodenhofer of Illiopolis.  2 brothers; Bob (Lynn) Sneed of Bowling Green, KY and Lennie (Patricia) Sneed of O’Fallon.  2 sisters; Lillian Burgess and Inez Rush both of Alton.  7 grandchildren; Nicole Goacher, Tabitha Lay, Michael Hansson II, Eric Hansson, Sarah Taggart, Joshua Cowsert and Ty Rodenhofer. Also surviving are 15 great grandchildren and beloved aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Moore retired from Emerson Electric and was a member of the First Baptist Church in Nashville.

The family will conduct a memorial service at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 3, 2017 at the First Baptist Church in Nashville with Rev. Scott Sharp officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.  Styninger Funeral Home in Nashville assisted the family with arrangements.
