Jane A. Huge, 81 of Hoyleton, passed away at 5:20 a.m. on Saturday, December 24, 2016 at Breese Nursing Home in Breese.  She was born on August 5, 1935 in Hoffman, the daughter of Victor and Laura Tyberendt Wessel.  She married Edward Huge on November 24, 1956 in Hoffman and he passed away on April 14, 2003.  Also preceding her in death were her parents and a sister; Agnes Wessel.  Left to mourn her passing are 3 sons; Kevin (Mia) Huge of Hoyleton, Dennis (Angie) Huge of Kell and Norman Huge of Breese.  2 daughters; Rita (Stanley) Pokorney of Wayne City and Sara Huge of Breese.  5 grandchildren; Misty Thomason, Alicia Hudson, Dalton Huge, April and Emily Huge.  2 great grandchildren; Ethan and Jacob Thomason.

Jane was a farm wife and member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Hoyleton.  She enjoyed embroidery, crocheting, playing bingo and all of the activities at the Breese Nursing Home.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, December 29, 2016 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Hoyleton with Rev. Nathan Wollenberg officiating.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery.  Friends may call from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday at the Styninger Funeral & Cremation Chapel in Hoyleton and one hour prior to services at the church.  Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or American Diabetes Association.
