Donald Adair Madden, Jr. 71 of Nashville, passed away at 8:30 p.m. on Tuesday, June 13, 2017 at his residence. He was born on March 6, 1946 in Pacific, MO the son of Donald and Pearl Sams Madden, Sr. He married Margaret Young on June 12, 1972 and she passed away on April 1, 2007. Also preceding him in death were his parents and a sister; Karen Smith. Left to mourn his passing are 2 step sons; David Lee Young, Jr. of Springfield and Mark Allen Young of Nashville. 2 step daughters; Marsha Ann Dietz and Kim Marie Simmons both of Nashivlle. A brother Terry Madden of Sullivan, MO. 2 sisters; Betty Filby of Jefferson City, MO and Pat Rogue of Ohio. 5 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.

Mr. Madden was a Navy veteran of the Vietnam War and retired as a delivery man for Wonder Bread after 30 years. He was a member of the Teamsters and the Jesus Christ Church of Latter Day Saints.

Graveside services with full military rites will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, June 23, 2017 at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery in St. Louis. There will be no visitation. Styninger Funeral Home in Nashville is in charge of arrangements
