Dolly B. McFeron, 66 of Nashville, passed away at 8:30 p.m. on Sunday, July 16, 2017 at Washington County Hospital in Nashville.  She was born on December 5, 1950 in Washington County, the daughter of Eugene and Lydia Prueshner Hampton.  She married Thomas D. McFeron on April 5, 1969 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Nashville.  She was preceded in death by her parents, 3 brothers; John, David and Albert Hampton, a brother in law; Walt Turner and 3 sister in laws; Jane McFeron, Brenda Hampton and Betty Hampton.  Left to mourn her passing is her husband of 48 years.  2 sons; Michael McFeron and Darrin McFeron and wife Sharon both of Nashville. 2 grandchildren; Tanner and Mackenzie McFeron of Nashville.  Former daughter in law; Beth (Lunte) McFeron of Nashville. A brother; Wesley Hampton of Nashville. 2 sisters; Betty Turner and Dinah Barnhart and husband Hank both of Nashville. 2 brother in laws; Charles McFeron of Nashville and John McFeron and wife Sheila of Ashley.  

Dolly was a graduate of Nashville High School.  She was a sales clerk at the Nashville Pharmacy and previously worked at the candy counter of the Nashville Theater, waitress at Joe and Helen’s Café in Nashville, the Nashville Drag Strip and the food services department of Washington County Hospital.  She was a long time member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Nashville where she was an officer of the Lutheran Women’s Missionary League, served on the finance and membership boards and was active in the fellowship club.  She was a Meals on Wheels volunteer and enjoyed watching her grandchildren play sports and “ladies night out” bingo.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, July 20, 2017 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Nashville with Rev. Aaron Kotila officiating.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery with Rev. A.J. Wollenburg officiating.  Friends may call from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday and one hour prior to services on Thursday both at the Trinity Lutheran Church.  Memorial contributions may be made to Trinity Lutheran Church, Trinity-St. John Lutheran School, Trinity LWML or Washington County Right to Life.  Styninger Funeral Home in Nashville is in charge of arrangements.
