Bertha A. Randoll 93 of Nashville, passed away at 11:45 a.m. on Thursday, April 6, 2017 at Friendship Manor Health Center in Nashville. She was born on May 31, 1923 in Washington County, the daughter of John and Ella Bordewisch Obermeier. She married Carl F. Randoll on March 10, 1945 at Ebeneezer Lutheran Church in Okawville and he passed away on December 8, 2007. Also preceding her in death were her parents and 2 sisters; Hulda Jacobs and LuLu Randoll. Left to mourn her passing is a son; Deon Randoll and wife Debbie of Marion. A daughter; Lynne M. Carrick and husband Jonathan of Strasburg, CO. 8 grandchildren; Amanda Deegan, James Carrick, Joanna Bronson, Kaitlin Carrick, Carl Andrew Randoll, Emily Ehrenheim, Ethan and Ashley Randoll. 4 great grandchildren; Hazel and Sawyer Deegan and Jadalynn and Zoe Bronson. 5 brothers; Raymond and Eddie Obermeier of Belleville, John Obermeier of Norris City and Roland and Leonard Obermeier of Okawville. A sister in law; Marian Schmitt of Nashville.
Mrs. Randoll was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Nashville where she was active in the Willing Helpers Ladies group for many years.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, April 11, 2017 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Nashville with Rev. Aaron Kotila officiating. Burial will follow in the Zion Evangelical cemetery in Addieville. Friends may call from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Monday at the Styninger Funeral Home in Nashville and again from 9:30 until 10:15 a.m. on Tuesday at the church. Memorial contributions may be made to Trinity Lutheran Church or Alzheimer’s research.
